Emberback

Emberback is a muscular tomcat, particularly in his legs where he easily chased down intruders and prey alike. His short, coarse fur is a deep ginger in hue, and colored in a classic marble tabby pattern. His tail was long and has an obvious kink at the tip from an accident early in life.

Emberback is an honest sort of cat, the type that sometimes bludgeoned. The sort of feline who might be oblivious to how his words may affect others, so he prefers to only really speak when needed. He does not go out of his way to make friends. He understands that his fellow warriors are associates, standing together in their duty to protect and provide for their clan. Emberback does his best not to stand out in a crowd, but his fierceness in defending his clan must have bought the attention of one she-cat in particular.

Other than the hunting incident that kinked his tail as an apprentice, his life was average in most aspects. He preferred patrolling Windclan territory rather than hunting, only doing so when he was needed or when eh was doing something else in their territory, being as efficient as possible. When Mistystep approached him to sire a litter out of her, he obliged his fellow warrior, but wasn’t interested in fatherhood, preferring to keep to himself and out of Mistystep’s way when it came to their son. He retired to the Elder’s den when his joints became a daily complaint, and still mainly keeps to himself besides the occasional grievance shared between clanmates.
