A Player Character played by HummingDaze

Warrior of ShadowClan
A Male cat who identifies Nonbinary.
By Unknown Sire out of Hazelbark.
Living at the age of 13 Moons (1 Years)
Short Description:

A brown non-binary mackerel tabby with green eyes

Long Description:

Appearance consists of a brown striped tabby But the tail is fully dark brown colored. Their eyes are naturally green, streaks around the cheeks, and more amount of stripes at forehead to belly. It’s fur type is smooth and short.

This young warrior is friendly and easily oblivious to situations they’d be involved. Brackenwing would ought to prove their worthiness since they were a kit. Meeting non-clan cats during its apprenticeship, was the age where they were curious and friendly towards loners/rogues who’d intrude in the Shadowclan territory. Since they’ve became a warrior, Brackenwing should’ve taken apprentice duties seriously, yet easily forgets a lot of crucial tasks given to them by accident.

Not an expert

Mentorship does not suit this warrior, despite how engaging and friendly Brackenwing is. They’re too un-experienced to train any apprentice from what they’ve learned around its apprentice years. The only great skill they achieved is hunting enough prey for Shadowclan.

And those hunting patrols sometime, would be in dangerous weather conditions. Where Brackenwing will still partake to hunt enough prey in those harsh moon days. Can easily be injured slightly because of those risky patrols. Same with border patrolling around their territory.

Key Dates:
  • Born in the Moon of Lion's Glory (2019)
Full History:
  • Were born around Moon of Lion’s Glory(2019)
  • Was named Brackenkit by their Dame during Moon of Lion’s Glory(2019)
  • Became an apprentice of Shadowclan as Brackenpaw during Moon of Tiger’s Wrath(2019)
  • Earned the warrior name Brackenwing in Shadowclan during Moon of Long Sun(2020)

Kit-hood: 0-5 moons

Rarely gotten out of the nursery around Moon of Turning Leaves(2019). Until an elder member had arrived that moon, to welcome the young kit. Which begun the well engagement with the elders. Even after becoming a warrior of Shadow clan during Moon of Tiger’s Wrath(2020), Brackenwing will always visit to the elder den. The Dame is quite proud to see her own kin learn the ways of being a Shadowclan warrior through those elder’s clan life stories.

Apprentice-ship: 6-11 moons

Brackenwing’s apprentice ceremony was very welcoming feeling during Moon of Tiger’s Wrath(2019). Moon of Melting Waters(2019), they got through east tunnel outside of Shadowclan for their first hunting patrol. The hunt was slow, as they’d fail to capture prey that’s very quick, but eventually caught a frog and a fat squirrel. Of the next week after, Brackenwing would go border patrolling with their mentor again. This was the day they spoken curiously with a cat who trespassed in the Shadowclan territory while Brackenwing’s mentor wasn’t looking. Eventually that was stopped once their mentor did seen them, chasing out the loner/rogue to the North plains, and went back to where Brackenwing was at. Ratfields was the place both Brackenwing and their mentor were at.

Adulthood: current;12-13 moons

So far, Brackenwing would do their best to take Border patrolling seriously. No more meets and greets with any cat outsiders near Shadowclan territory. Especially when their old mentor had scowled them of that issue around Brackenwing’s first border patrolling, Moon of Melting Waters(2020). Is kind enough to offer help around the clan camp; clearing elder member’s ticks, securing a patrol for the medicine cat to gather their required herbs, and take over any warrior’s patrol who’d fall ill or injured.

The engagement with other warriors during Moon of Turning Leaves(2020) is awkward for Brackenwing. Not because their too shy, but because Brackenwing hardly gotten to know them at all.

Notes & Additional Details

Biological gender: “Other”, and why that is!

I would specify Brackenwing to be closely a Tom, but they don’t see that in themselves. Neither they are a she-cat.

This confirms how little they care about the gender they’re born as. Often honest to clan mates that’d ask what they are identified as.

When overhearing claims about them, Brackenwing would simply ignore those claims.
After all, they are prideful of who they are and will remain proud to be a ShadowClan warrior.

Genetics: This character requires a genetic code to be bred.
Bans Data: Brackenwing has been compiled into the bans records.

  1. Last one. We try hard not to include elements of powerplay or what other cats might think/feel about your character in absolutes.

    – “But would dodge or put down claims, when overhearing their own clan-mates thinking that they are just a “clueless she-cat/Tom”.”

You can just say that they dodge put down claims should they overhear it.

  2. Biological Gender:
You still need to address your biological gender, which is labeled “Other”. If you choose “other” please specify the individual condition resulting in the other gender classification. You can put specification in “Notes(Public)”.

  3. Hello and welcome to CoSC. There’s just one thing I see that would warrant an edit:

“This young warrior is friendly and would easily oblivious.” – grammer.

I’ll be able to look over your cat again when you resubmit

    • Also on your profile, you’ve set their biological gender to ‘other’. If you choose “other” please specify the individual condition resulting in the other gender classification.
