Hailstrike emulates a tall stature given from her sire, long since surpassing her younger sister Merryaster, and now rivals that of her younger brother, Sturgeonwhisker. After she fills in and her bones stabilize, both her size and frame will be imposing and large, like her impressive and strong father, Boldstrike.
Her colors are that of a blue ticked tabby, with short, smooth fur which descended not just from her mother, but her overall Riverclan heritage. She has rather bright, olive-green eyes which reflect her curious and ambitious personality.

Personality Hailstrike is a living testament to her sire, Boldstar, as she considers herself one of the bravest in RiverClan, or bravest of all the clans. However, for Hailstrike, the bravery is followed by a competitive spirit that burns in her chest whenever competition bubbles up among her siblings, other clanmates, or even cats from other clans. Hailstrike would never be one to back down from a challenge, even if it risked injury to herself, only if it endangered her family or clan, would she take a few paces back, holding her loyalty true to the clan she calls her home. Easily excitable, Hailstrike seems to perk up at almost anything, even a shift in the bushes could mean something new and exciting for her to explore or conquer. A determined spirit keeps her stubborn and undeterred in harder times like long-lasting leaf-bares or particularly nasty situations. But regardless, her actions are driven by her clan, however competitive or slightly reckless they might be. Ever since kithood, a hunger burned in the blue warrior’s belly, something akin to ambition or perhaps… actual hunger. She would never be a cat to turn down a chance to share some prey if she was offered, sometimes she could turn it into a spar of who would be able to get to the fresh kill pile first, or even who would find the biggest and freshest prey first. And she often doesn’t really take much notice of any possible attempts too dampen her spirit, as Hailstrike likes the way she is and doesn’t intend to change for any cat. The thrill of battle always fascinated her, the anticipation of attack, the speed of the strikes, the efficiency and competition to it all, it always enthused her. At some stages every so often, Hailstrike may be spotted practicing her strikes and dodges, on other accepting clanmates or by herself. No matter who or what she is training with, she always finds room in herself for improvement and she has made it her own personal goal to find everything weak about herself and strengthen it, strengthen herself, for the better of RiverClan. Despite her competitive and ambitious nature, Hailstrike still enjoys relaxing and sharing tongues with her siblings and a select few of her clanmates on rarer occasions as she truly cares for all of them, but she wonders if they truly understand her stances on things regarding how she thinks the clan should go about things. But usually, she doesn’t let that get to her and enjoys the time spent with her clanmates regardless of the possible differences between each one. Overall, Hailstrike strives for success, ambition and stubborn determination fueling the fire to chase perfection and success that she truly wishes for both herself and her clanmates. |

Kithood: Hailkit was the healthy firstborn of Otterwhisker’s first litter with Boldstar. She was born on the 22nd day of the Moon of Running Prey alongside Merrykit, Stormkit, and Sturgeonkit. Unknowledgeable about the dangers about the world outside, she lived alongside her siblings boisterously, showing strength that will be necessary for the pain and heartache of the world. For now, however, she lives safe and sound, ready to take on the world when she’s ready.
Apprenticeship:
Hailkit was apprenticed as Hailpaw to Briarfang on the moon Moon of Leopard’s Rest (’20). Hailpaw has grown over the moons, and her insatiable curiosity- and hunger- has not ended. She constantly seeks whatever she can find- and greatly enjoys each gathering her father chooses to allow her to attend. She is particularly close to her younger sister, Merrypaw.
Her apprenticeship went forward without a hitch, she often threw herself at any thrilling venture he mentor had in store for her, even the seemingly mundane patrol and hunting duties. Hailpaw adored them all and would often try and find some cat to tell about the tales of her training (weather some information was fabricated or not). Regardless, she honed her skills and developed a strong sense of duty towards RiverClan, always willing to be the first to charge in when told in order to protect the clan she loves above all else.
As she was reaching the end of her apprenticeship, Briarfang put a task in front of her that she couldn’t refuse. He tasked her to kill an osprey that was feasting on a fish beside the river. Hailpaw went forward with confidence and used what she had learned about tracking, hunting and fighting to take the eagle down, snapping its neck swiftly after the struggle and brought it back to camp to show off to the new RiverClan leader, Coldstar.
Warriorhood:
Hailpaw was made into a warrior as Hailstrike on the 5th day of the moon of Running Prey 2021 along with her siblings who became Merryaster, Sturgeonwhisker, Stormsquall, and Mistydawn
