Gingerthrash

Gingerthrash is a large tom cat, with a lilac-caramel coloration and short fur. He had a golden-red blaze running from the tip of his tail, all the way down his body to his nose. His face and paws were all a darker gradient of caramel than his body.  Gingerthrash had a long tail, which was always moving and twitching with impatience. He had almond shaped eyes, that were a golden-orange colour.

• He was an excellent fighter; the scars on his body were around his legs and tail – places his opponents could reach.

Confident would be a polite way to describe Gingerthrash – although arrogant is more accurate. Descending from a line of Fierceblooded cats, Gingerthrash sees himself as leagues above the other cats of Thunderclan, even his own kin. His strength could have been called admirable, although his wits are not nearly as sharp as his claws. It was very easy to underhandedly insult the tomcat as he often didn’t understand or care about what others had to say about him.

• Gingerthrash was ambitious, to the extent that he wanted to prove he was the best. His actions were not in any way leading him to Deputy or Leadership – he really only understood brute force and violence rather than the ability to lead others. Now he is content with bossing around apprentices from the Elder’s den, and telling stories that may or may not be true.

Kit: 0-6 moons

Gingerkit was born in a litter of 2 alongside his brother Shalekit. The siblings weren’t particularly close and Gingerkit always found himself competing with Shalekit even from a young age. Despite their comparable sizes and strength Shalekit always seemed to be 3 steps ahead of Gingerkit

Apprentice: 6-12 moons

Gingerpaw was not exceptionally outstanding when he was an apprentice; although he did exhibit his fierceblooded heritage. While he was out on a solo patrol near Fourtrees (something he should NOT have been doing) he was ambushed by a group of Shadowclan apprentices who were daring one another to travel into Thunderclan and Riverclan territory – the group of cats hadn’t expected an onlooked and lashed out in fear and/or vindictivness. Not expecting to see clan cats so far into their territory, he was taken by surprise. Gingerpaw was able to fend off his attackers but still found himself badly injured.

A warrior brought what they believed to be Gingerpaw body back to camp and, to the surprise of the Medicine Cat, Gingerpaw was still alive. He did eventually make a full recovery, although he lagged behind a bit in his training after spending an few moons receiving treatment.

Warrior: 14 – 60 moons

Gingerthrash was given his name in honour of his vicious fighting style, which he had first used to fend off his Shadowclan attackers. He was most often put on patrol rather than hunting duty as his skills were less than perfect and he would often make a nuisance of himself. Shalefury passed away in his 51st moon, after being attacked by a band of rouges and Gingertail was proud that his brother passed protecting the clan. He is very fond of Wildcry and her brood – they remind him of his brother in all the best ways.

Gingerthrash was asked to sire kits by a fellow warrior ____, who was also an experienced queen. He accepted, not quite realizing that he likely wasn’t her first choice, but he didn’t care so long as his daughter Quailkit grew up as strong as he was. He was happy to see her graduate to warriorhood despite setbacks.

Elder: 60 moons – Current

Gingerthrash was asked to step down as a warrior after his fighting skills began to grow rusty; and he is currently wondering what he should do with himself now that his one use to the clan has expired. He enjoys talking to (or at) his niece Wildcry and hearing the exploits of her offspring.

He has high hopes for Quailcall’s brood but like some of his clanmates finds their efforts to be lacking.
