Litters Department

Manages and arbitrates all litters that happen in the game, including generating the kittens that happen as a result of approved pregnancies.

Litters are a very carefully considered thing at CoSC, with each Clan being permitted 1-2 litters on the ground at a time. This means our litters application process requires evidence to show that the pair has brought RP to the game and contributed to earn the honor.

How to File an Application

  1. Both the sire and dam characters must have genotypes before you begin.
  2. The player of either the sire or the dam must fill out the Application Form.
    • The player of the dam must visit the litter application and are register their agreement by clicking the link and filling out the form.
    • The player of the sire must visit the litter application and are register their agreement by clicking the link and filling out the form.
  3. The applications team will review the application and provide either an approval or declination for the mating bearing offspring on this attempt.
  4. The staff rolls the litter results randomly.
    • Looks information will be provided for each kitten.
    • Dummy character sheets will be provided for each kitten.
  5. Players must be found for the offspring using one or more of the following methods:
    • Claims: The sire and dam player may claim kittens if they want them and have an available slot.
    • Gifts: The sire and dam player may offer kittens to players they wish to if said players have an available slot.
    • Finder: The sire and dam player may place the kittens up for adoption via the Family Finder Forum. This adoption may be first-come-first-serve or application driven as the parents players see fit.
    • Admins: The sire and dam player may ask the applications team to take over the assignment of kittens.
  6. The player of the dam must fill out the Assignment details on the character for each kitten, providing a name and player. Any kittens not assigned a player will be stillborn.
  7. The Dam’s player is expected to participate in characterwhile the pregnancy progresses.
  8. A thread for the birth of the kittens or the announcement of them to the clan must be held.
