Doveflight is a she-cat, long furred with harsh green eyes, her coat is a brown mackerel tabby with high white spotting, white spotting is mainly on the lower half of her body but arches up to cover 1/3 of her face on the right side. She has spotted paw pads, being dark pink and lighter pink. She has short whiskers, long legs, a slimmed tail, and messy fur around her face.

Doveflight is adventurous, naïve, but caring. She is one quick to pounce on ideas and loves to cat-watch to observe others. She isn’t as quick (physically and smarts wise), but she makes up for it for being a listener and a cat willing to help others. Doveflight has been known to talk to any cat who needs an ear, from apprentices, to queens, to even other clan cats at gatherings!

Doveflight is notorious for being a bit dim, often needing a thorough explanation and her good nature can make her chatty to passing patrols from other clans. When patrols or hunting needs to be done, Doveflight is first to volunteer, simply wanting to explore the moor and grounds around the clan. The joy of running with the wind and seeing new sights is a cure for the soul, and Doveflight follows that code by heart.

• Born in the Moon of Tiger's Wraith (2018)

Doveflight was born to an older couple, Featherfur and Adderfang. She was the only kit of the litter, her parents having been deemed unable to have kits. Doveflight was raised with other kits in the nursery, being a joyful kit. She lost her father, Adderfang, when he was found forever resting in his nest in the elder’s den.

She was apprenticed at 6 moons, being more foolish than she should’ve been. With constant correcting from her mentor, Jaycall, Dovepaw had been more rebellious during her apprenticeship. Dovepaw excelled at tracking by scent or hearing, but lacked in hunting and killing her prey. She was skilled in running, often needing to run around to burn energy or out of boredom.

Dovepaw was scolded and criticized by her mentor, who meant no harm, only wanting to have her prove to others that she can succeed. Dovepaw was so-so with fighting and climbing, some days were better than most and she discovered she fears heights. Yet the apprentice was made a warrior finally at 14 moons, given the name Doveflight for her quick running, as if she and the wind were one in the same.

Now a warrior, Doveflight was more than content to rest her paws. Sure, she enjoyed patrols and hunting, but talking or observing others was her highlight of the day. As a warrior, in the beginning, she was much more goal driven, often one to volunteer to patrols or assist elders. She did anything to prove she was an asset to the clan, no matter the task. Her most notable early warrior days was being fooled that there was an all white mole hiding in the moor, so she spent most the day hunting for it.

When she was a more ‘experienced’ warrior, she began to slow down in her offers to overachieve. She still helped around but rather would take small patrols, talk to others, and observe the cats around her. Doveflight became more interested in her relationships with others in the clan. She tried to befriend most but learned not all cats were socially driven as her.

Now in present time, Doveflight is more relaxed and content with her place in the clan. She is much more of a chatterbox, still needing help when hunting, but always has an ear out for drama or gossip. She is still wanting to befriend others but is happy to be on her lonesome. She often cares for her mother, being sure to clean her nest regularly and make sure she eats.

Doveflight is not one to judge most, often being too social to take in consideration if they’ll harm her, so don’t be afraid to be rude to her.
