Kit’s Ear is a low-growing plants with a pale, grayish-green color. They are called kit’s ears because of their leaves, which have a soft, fur-like texture. Small flowers bloom on tall spikes in late spring/early summer and are either pinkish purple or white. The stem grows to about 6 – 8 inches.
The leaves are thick and good for bandaging.
