Itch
Description:

An itch is an irritation feeling that results in the urge to scratch. And itch might happen in response to a light touch, or be indicative of something more chronic or difficult to control.

Treatment:

In the majority of cases, and itch is just an itch. It is only when itches become chronic that they become a concern, and in those cases it is preferable to treat the root cause rather than the itch, using treatments for the itch itself only to help prevent the cat from harming themselves.
