Description :

Sage is a rather tall plant, wiry and growing to about a foot in height. Sage leaves are paired all along the stalk, and are known for their purplish, veiny hue — they also have fine hairs spattered across the center line of the leaf. The plant’s flowers are small and purple, and are very strongly and bitterly scented.

Properties :

Leaves may be used to soothe burns or sore throats, as well as healing abrasions or open wounds on the skin.
