I set up a Ko-fi account to collect donations for CoSC in case anyone wants to help with site upkeep.
Here are the ways any donations will be used:
- Paying the yearly domain registration fee (about 14$)
- Paying CoSC annual hosting fees (about 130$)
- Buying cool new software for the site:
- Topic Prefix & Tag Manager (25$)
- WPForo Emoticons (20$)
- Topic Custom Fields (35$)
Money raised over these expenses would be used for things like commissioning custom artwork for places like our banner and front page. Though I suspect donations will be sparse. I run this site out of love, and the only things that won't happen quickly will be the software stuff. If you specifically want to see the software additions happen, just make a note that I should direct your donations there.
A thank you page will be added to the footer of the site if we do get donations and your support will be noted there.
