Dazzlekit is a small but stocky tom with bright red pelt, nearly identical to his fathers. As he is still young, it is hard to tell any distinct features of his other than his signature mackerel stripes, which compared to his fathers are a little darker. At this point in time it is hard to tell if he will grow to be more muscular or lithe, though it seems he will be more lithe with a muscular undertone, similar to the build of his mother. Dazzlekit also has the same light pink nose as his mother. He has light copper eyes that usually glimmer with a playful and happy shine.

Dazzlekit is a curious young tom, often finding himself bored around camp and itching to do something. He is restless and constantly moving, whether it be to ask if anyone needs ‘help’ or to get someone to play with him. It seems as though social anxiety fears him, but it is likely something he will grow out of. Confidence is a good thing, and Dazzlekit definently has it, along with a massive appetite. Want to share a meal with him? You’ll probably end up getting less than half. He doesn’t mean to, but he is just always so hungry!

Although he is a social butterfly, Dazzlekit sometimes clings to his mother, not wanting to leave her or getting irritated if she is away from him for too long. At this point in time it is hard to tell if this is a kit thing, or something that might turn into a problem later on. Although he spends a lot of his time with Clovershine, his active, curious nature often leads to him getting distracted from the thought that ‘he must be with Clovershine’, so he will instead go to nag one of his brothers.

Dazzlekit is yet to understand the concept of being ‘blood related’, and doesn’t understand why his adoptive brother, Murkkit looks so different. He doesn’t really care, but confused as to why he only met his brother recently if they all share the same mama.

Overall Dazzlekit is a joyful little tom who wishes to do his best.

Born the 26th day of the Moon of Running Prey (2020), a bright red mackerel tabby kitten spends his days nestled against the pale cream pelts of his mother and older brother. Dazzlekit received his name because his mother, Clovershine, claimed his bright red pelt made it impossible to miss the small kit, even in the dark. The first part of Dazzlekit’s life revolves around basic kitten needs; eating, sleeping, and sniffing out all the new scents that are just waiting for him to discover.

As he grew mobile, Dazzlekit made an effort to get to know camp, attempting to leave the nursery as much as he could for a breath of fresh air. He is often seen near his mother or siblings, and is rarely seen alone, unless on a self absorbed ‘mission’ of his where he is so distracted by his own curiosity that he forgets he is alone. Climbing, running and playing are some of Dazzlekit’s favourite activities, as he is one that needs to burn energy.
