Wrentalon

Wrentalon is a brown mackerel tabby tom. He looks rather similar to his littermate, Tigerrush, albeit bigger and more muscular. His fur is short and fluffy, billowing out more at his tail which turns black halfway to the tip, the tips of his ears and his paws are also black. A cream belly stands out against the rest of his dark fur. Wrentalons eyes are a yellowish-brown. A few scars are littered over his body but one prominent one stands out on his shoulder.

Wrentalon is always ready for a fight, and his overconfidence leads him to believe he will always win. His emotions guide him for better or for worse. As an apprentice he was hyper fixated on learning to fight making him lack in other skills like hunting. Wrentalon is stubborn and close-minded, along with being blunt and underestimating the abilities of others. He treats Tigerrush differently however… his “little sister” is someone to be protected, after all, he cares for her deeply and will protect her above all else no matter the cost. She’s smaller, not as capable in his eyes. He’s clearly happy about her being Thunder Clan’s medicine cat. He says he’s happy because she is doing what she is passionate about and helping the clan. What really matters to him is that she’s staying off the front lines and out of danger, as well as keeping her away from toms.

In the Moon of First White (2018), a queen named Cottonlily gave birth to three kits, one died while the other two, one tom named Wrenkit and one she-kit named Rushkit, survived. Wrenkit nearly lost his sister to kit cough when she was younger but she managed to survive by some miracle despite being the runt of the litter. Wrenkit quickly realized how much Rushkit’s death would’ve hurt him and Cottonlily, quickly developing determination to be strong enough to protect his family. Wrenkit watched the warriors as much as he could to learn even before apprenticeship. At last he became an apprentice. Despite working hard in almost all his training he only seemed truly enthusiastic about learning how to fight and excelled in that skill because of it. In the middle of his apprenticeship he snuck out of camp at night and fell into a thorn bush, now he has scars because of it. Wrenpaw was forced to tell his mentor the truth but to everyone else he said that he’d gotten into a fight with a Shadow Clan warrior, he still sticks to the story to this day just because it makes him seem cool. Later, he became a warrior and was named Wrentalon. His sister, Tigerrush, was made medicine cat of Thunder Clan. Wrentalon was really happy for her. Wrentalon still is trying to get stronger even out of apprenticeship, readying himself for battle at every turn so he can protect his sister. After all, there’s always something to learn even if you believe that you are the best, strongest, and most capable warrior in all of Thunder Clan.
