Palestar was a she-cat with purpose as she padded through camp to the usual talking spot to address her clan. Tonight was a particularily warm night and the she-cat wanted to leave early so they wouldnt have to rush to the Gathering. Her voice called out to everyone who could hear her, her odd eyes steady as they picked out the individuals who would heed her cry.
"Let all cats old enough to catch thier own prey join here in the shelter of the briar patch for a clan meeting!"

Thankful for his coat of short fur this day, the ginger elder awoke from his nap, blinking through the night before he rose from his den. An ear gave a thoughtful twitch at Palestar's cry. He'd be interested to see who would be going this Gathering night, although he had minimal interest in going himself. With a stretch he strode from the elder's den, eyes cast high where they found the lyxn point leader, herself.

Hickorystorm started awake at his leader's call, feeling both annoyed that he had succumbed to sleep again but also because he was finally starting to convince his body to rest without being dosed with poppy seeds yet here he was being woke up. Stretching his body, he yawned then groaned softly at the feeling of his healing flesh tightening when he did so.
Heaving himself to his paws, the chocolate tabby tom carefully felt his way from his makeshift nest to the entrance too the medicine cat entrance. With Ashpaw and Sootpaw having been made apprentices, he wasn't fully sure of the reason behind the meeting- he couldn't see to keep visual track of the moon in the sky and as he continued to recover in the medicine cat's den, he had lost track of how many days had passed.
Though he was enjoying the fresher air, Hickorystorm gave a sigh and flopped down before laying his head on his paws. He kept his ears angled towards the briar patch but it looked like he might drifting back off to sleep- without working eyes, it was had to tell unless you listened to his breathing.

Ashpaw made is why proudly to take a seat towards the front of the group. He had hopes (dreams) of maybe getting to go to this gathering, but his hopes were somewhat down. So many warriors, it made sense that apprentices might get left behind.
He settled himself firmly, doing his best to give off an air of maturity. Just in case Palestar hadn't decided yet.

Palestar watched at the cats assembled from their various places, heeding her call.
"Today is Gathering night, and besides Briarstream and myself, I will be taking Hollyclaw and Ashpaw with me tonight. Clovershine, please organize a hunting patrol. Let's go."
Picking herself from Talking Place, she began to lead out her clanmates, heading for the sanctity of Fourtrees.

Clovershine was exhausted. The heat of the day was weighing her down enough already without the weight in her belly adding to the load. She'd been restless, so the call of Palestar for a clan meeting perked her ears, and despite her discomfort the cream colored she-cat rose to her paws and slowly padded her way out to where the rest of her clan sat. As Palestar's voice rang out, Clovershine wasn't surprised to hear she hadn't been chosen to go to the gathering, but she was a bit taken aback at the command to organize a patrol. It felt like moons had passed since she'd really done anything of the sort...but she nodded in acknowledgement to her sister and leader before readying herself for patrol.
